I’m delighted to announce that file sharing site drop.io has offered a massive 5GB account free of charge for the 12for12k Challenge. This account will be used for a variety of purposes, including video and other media options. One of the first uses of the drop.io account will be to involve you guys in the official 12for12k Challenge promo video. Details of how you can become involved will be announced very soon!

I love those file sharing sites – especially for “community sharing”. I had not heard of drop.io but will certainly look at it.
I use getdropbox.com to share between my 2 computers and also with my associate. She can reach the same files I update from her computer in her office, from a folder inside her “mydocuments” — Cool.
