Why War Child Needs Our Support

As you know, the 12for12k Challenge chose War Child as the first charity we’re supporting in 2009. There were many reasons why this was chosen as the lead-in charity: it’s for children and the donations go straight to those in need being just two. It also helps children worldwide and in some of the most inhospitable and ravaged landscapes imaginable.

Recently, James Topham of War Child Canada was featured on Toronto’s breaking news station CP24, produced by Amber Mac & Chris Dick. He spoke about what War Child does and who it helps. This interview, and the images in it, are exactly why we chose War Child for the 12for12k Challenge.

This video rocks! It's well made and has just the right impact. I've placed it on my care2 profile to draw attention to War Child and 12for12k.org.
