What If They Were YOUR Kids?

Think about $10. What could it buy your kids? A ticket to a movie. A couple of value meals at your local fast food restaurant. Some trading cards maybe? Now take a minute and think what $10 would mean to these kids.

$10 may give your kids a night at the movies or an extra burger or a bag of chips ‘n’ dip. $10 to these kids gives the gift of life. What’s worth more?

Danny, I am not going to lie. I just cried. I was not expecting this when I linked from the Facebook message and it hit me. I did not know that's where my money was going and now I wish I had more money to give.

      Hey there Jacob.

Thanks for your support, you've been there from the start (like many others) and I truly appreciate it. The message is hard-hitting, but as you say, it shows in a physical sense who's being helped. Which is what it's all about, at the end of the day.

This makes my heart hurt. Any kind of senseless suffering so it utterly confounding. Thank you, Danny, for spearheading this effort.

No child should have to live in circumstances where this type of harm is even fathomable. It breaks my heart to see images like this, but sometimes they are necessary to really show the world what is going on in other countries. The 12 for 12K team and James Topham (War Child Canada) are doing a great job to promote awareness for War Children everywhere, thank you!

Thanks Kelly – good to hear from you, hope you're well. :)

It's a small thing that we can offer but hopefully it can mean a lot.

Would like to know who took the picture with the girl soldiers in black and white?
I would like to use it for a project of mine,
but only if I can give credit to the photographer..
