Since February is a short month, it was always the intention of the 12for12k Challenge to support Stop the Silence for an extra couple of days. Unfortunately, due to an administrative error, the ChipIn for donations closed early on the afternoon of the 28th.

This not only stopped donations, but meant we couldn’t hold our online raffle idea to raise some much-needed funds (as well as offer you some fantastic goodies).

Therefore, we’re going to keep supporting Stop the Silence until Wednesday March 4. I’m waiting to here back from ChipIn about re-opening the February widget so we can start donations again. I’ll make sure that you’re kept updated with progress.

With regards the charity for March, we should be announcing that tomorrow. There’s a slight issue that the chosen charity doesn’t have aPaypal option at the minute. We’re looking to them to set one up, as we don’t take any monies at all. All donations go directly to the charity involved, to ensure trust and transparency.
