As the 12for12k Challenge approaches our first ever public meet-ups on April 18, there are another two cool events that are currently happening in support of 12for12k.
1. Tom Maduri is running a contest at his blog as a social media experiment, but one that will benefit 12for12k as well. Using Twitter’s message length as an example, Tom wants you to pitch your blog to him in just 120-characters. Tom will then share and highlight the best with his readers and Twitter followers (over 40,000 at the minute).
For every blog that Tom mentions on Twitter, or showcases on his own blog, he will donate $50 to 12for12k on behalf of that blog owner. He will also send the blog owner a $50 iTunes gift card for helping out 12for12k. Check it out now and submit your own blog pitch:

2. Ria Sharon is holding a virtual pajama party tonight via U-Stream TV. She has a whole bunch of prizes to give away in a special raffle, and she also has a host of great guests throughout the evening. It promises to be a fun event, and all donations will go directly to the 12for12k April charity.
It starts at 9.00pm EST (8.00pm CST) and is on for three hours. Have some fun and raise money for a great cause – you can take part here:

Hope to see you at either event, and sincere thanks to both Tom and Ria for offering such great incentives.
