12for12k is extremely happy to announce that Eye Care for Kids will be the charity we support throughout the month of July.
Every childhood dream begins with a vision. Eye Care For Kids makes sure the vision can happen.
A 501-c (3) non-profit organization, Eye Care for Kids has provided humanitarian aid to more than 20,000 children for more than six years. Their program helps visually impaired kids from poor and low-income families get the treatment they so desperately need.
They treat kids in need across the state of Utah, including rural areas and Native American reservations. Eye Care for Kids sees up to 200 children every week.
According to state statistics, as many as 65,000 kids currently need the services that Eye Care for Kids provide free. Not only can this help with education and learning difficulties, it can prevent more serious long-term damage as well. Check out Stephanie’s story as an example.

Imagine the every day things you couldn’t do as well with seriously impaired vision. See a flower; see a raindrop; watch a movie; read; write; enjoy people’s company and more.
Now imagine how much help we can offer by supporting the work that Eye Care for Kids does every day of the week.
- $25.00 will provide one child with an eye examination and a free pair of glasses.
Their goal is to eventually help restore every child’s vision. Help 12for12k throughout July to help make it more than just a vision – help us make it a reality.
