If you’re in New York and free on Thursday July 16, you might just want to put aside some time for Masquertweet.

Taking place at the uber-cool 49 Grove venue, Masquertweet is a fun costume-and-mask party that brings together Twitter users from New York and the surrounding areas.

Masterminded by Twitter users @PRCog, @PRDude and @Aerocles, it’s already shaping up to be a great night. Media service Burrelles Luce are helping sponsor the event with some great prizes for the raffle (including a HP N-270 mini Notebook) as well as catering.

All proceeds from the door cover charge go to this month’s 12for12k charity, Eye Care For Kids, as do all proceeds from the raffle itself.
